The Westwood Hills Residents Association (WWHRA) is a volunteer community organization consisting of a vibrant group of Westwood Hills residents who care about their neighbours and their community. The WWHRA was registered in 2002.
The WWHRA serves all residents of the community by:
Monitoring community problems and concerns
Forwarding community objectives to Halifax Regional Municipality
Facilitating the vetting and review of rezoning applications and other land-use proposals
Examining and participating in City initiatives such as green space design, parks review, bikeway projects, etc.
Providing open annual meetings at which any resident can voice views about community matters
Hosting special functions and events for the Westwood Hills community including Canada Day Barbeque and Fireworks, outdoor Christmas Decorating Contest, New Years Eve Fireworks, Community Yard Sale, Skating Party, etc.
